What is stored
The game saves three things using your browser's own local storage:
- Your best score
- Your longest streak of Fridays
- Whether you turned the music or sound off
This information stays in your browser on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it. Clearing your browser data, or removing the game from your home screen, erases it permanently.
What is not collected
No names, no email addresses, no location, no contacts, no photos, no device identifiers, and no gameplay analytics. There are no third-party advertising or tracking scripts on this site.
Third-party services
The game loads its lettering from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive a request from your browser for the font file. Google may log the IP address making that request, as with any file loaded from the internet. No other outside service is used. Once the game has loaded once, it works fully offline.
Children
Pastrami Run is made to be appropriate for children. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no purchases, and no way for players to contact each other.
